Рух (Ukr. – [Rukh] – Movement) is a compilation series launched during the war in Ukraine and released by Kyiv-based label and promoter Worn Pop. All proceeds from this compilation will be donated to the ‘Musicians Defend Ukraine’ fund that helps Ukrainian artists on the frontline.

From the beginning Worn Pop has established itself as Kyiv’s post-punk influenced formation, booking artists like Boy Harsher, Lebanon Hanover, The Soft Moon and in the same time promoting new Ukrainian acts. The label came to the party scene launching Black! Factory Festival together with Closer Club and since then has expanded its’ borders to regular club nights at Closer and other venues featuring dark and obscure dance music, inviting La Mverte, Kris Baha, Curses and more artists from similar movements.

All the artists on this compilation built the actual character of Worn Pop by playing at our events. Now they join the very first release in a series that contains 10 tracks exclusively produced by them and thoughtfully folded into one story which can be listened from the beginning to an end as a solid album.

Among the International names featured, there are Ukrainian acts coming, such as Geuxx, Hungry Boys, Ship Her Son and Aircraft. Their tracks here are written during the full-scale russian war against Ukraine which still goes on.
